I know some of you were having problems finding the news story relating to this blog. I have included it here for you. I think they did a great job and added even more life into this story. Great job News Channel 8! I will have more information for you all as well in upcoming posts. I know I said I’d get a new letter up, so I’m sorry I haven’t been able to yet. I just watched the news bit – thanks for sharing this. I haven’t commented on any others before, but I want to thank you for sharing this wonderful story – and taking your time and money to make sure the story is told. You’re doing a wonderful thing, sharing with everyone – I’m glad the news got involved so that more people can read your blog – and that the family found out about the letters.
It’s just a neat story all around – and yes, I love reading the little bits of history (books, speakers, weather) that are sprinkled throughout. It’s kind of funny that what to us seems no big deal (such as our hot summer in WA.) will be something taught in schools or talked about a century later! So Cool!!!

I was having truble finding The vídeo but finaly found it. I comment before but never told that I feel some shame that my spelling and English aren’t good. Specially when Daisy is a teacher and everybody here seems very well educated. But I’m improving. Thank you for sharing the letters.
